NASS reveal first artists for 2022 – TheFestivals

The first drop of artists has been announced today for NASS, set to make its long-awaited return next summer from 7-10 July 2022. The UK’s biggest celebration of music, street art, skate and BMX will be heading back to its home at the Bath and West Showground, nr. Bristol, with an epic line-up including two huge headliners Headie One (Friday) and The Streets (Saturday), plus 80+ more acts including Mabel, Becky Hill, Wilkinson presents Cognition, Ray Blk, Raye, Andy C and more.
Tickets for NASS 2022 go on sale from 10am, Friday 3 December 2021, with pre-sale on sale from 10am on Thursday 2 December via www.nassfestival.com. With thousands of tickets rolled over for 2022, fans should be quick to secure their tickets for next year’s NASS. 
Headie One has cemented himself as the most exciting breakout British rap star in recent years. His debut album Edna stormed to the top of the charts in October 2020, and featured musical heavyweights AJ Tracey, Drake, Stormzy, Future, Skepta, Aitch, Mahalia plus many more. With massive hit singles including ‘Ain’t It Different’ and ‘Princess Cuts’, it’s no surprise his tracks have been streamed by fans into the hundreds of millions. The highest-charting drill rapper ever, following the release of ‘18Hunna’ with Dave, Headie One will be at NASS festival this summer ready to claim headliner status on Friday night. 
Saturday’s headline act requires no introduction, it’s The Streets. Hailing from Birmingham, Mike Skinner is a producer, rapper, DJ, singer, writer and actor. The Streets gained widespread critical acclaim in 2002 with debut album Original Pirate Material, fast-becoming British rap royalty who notably changed the face of UK rap music for generations to come. With an arsenal of bangers including ‘Fit But You Know It’, ‘Blinded By The Lights’ and ‘Has It Come To This’, The Streets will bring an unforgettable headline set on Saturday night at NASS. 
NASS is pleased to announce that many of the acts booked to perform in 2021 have joined the 2022 bill and extends a huge thanks to fans and artists for their continued support. 
Over 80 more artists have been revealed today for NASS 2022. Becky Hill, who’ll be making a special guest appearance, has seen huge success with her hits including ‘Afterglow’, ‘Back & Forth’, ‘Wish You Well’ and ‘Lose Control’. ‘Last Time’. Becky released her long-awaited album Only Honest On The Weekend this summer, along with the single ‘My Heart Goes (La Di Da)’ alongside topic. There’ll be no shortage of high-octane hits when Wilkinson presents Cognition hits the stage at NASS next summer. The ‘Afterglow’ hitmaker will be at NASS with his unique sound which perfectly blends drum’n’bass, jungle, dance and dubstep.
One of British music’s most talented stars, and hot off the back of singles including ‘BED’, RAYE will be heading to NASS, along with Ella Eyre and Grime MC FM have also been added to the line-up, Even more big-hitters join the NASS hype, including one of the UK’s hottest R&B stars Ray Blk, as well as My Nu Leng, drum’n’bass legend Andy C, and Australian house DJ and producer Sonny Fodera. 2020 BRIT Award winner Mabel will be heading to NASS, armed with her biggest hits including ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ and ‘Finders Keepers’ along with a jewel in London’s hip-hop crown, Ms Banks

Rave house sounds will be delivered from Galway’s own Kettama, while the pioneering drum’n’bass collective, while award-winning SASASAS, made up of the biggest names in drum and bass (MC’s Harry Shotta, Skibadee, Shabba D, Stormin’, DJ Phantasy and Macky Gee) also join the epic line up for NASS 2022. 
Fans can sign-up now for the NASS festival ticket pre-sale. On Thursday 2 December at 10am, pre-sale tickets will go on sale, followed by general on sale at 10am the following day, Friday 3 December. Thursday entry camping, Friday entry camping, VIP camping, Day tickets, Glamping packages, and Charge Candy, parking and other extras will be going on sale to fans. 
In July, NASS will welcome the biggest names in skate and BMX, who are set to battle it out with competitions taking place across the four days of the festival. Details of NASS’ international skate and BMX competitions will be announced in January 2022. Plus, there will be some of the most talented UK street artists displaying their work throughout the festival, including unique pieces and live art created especially for NASS. 2022’s street art is set to be curated for NASS, by Upfest.
